  • Welcome to my meatloaf dinner recipe, very easy and tasty recipe.

First thing is to preheat your oven to 375. Gather large mixing bowl, add ground beef, mix in teaspoon salt , teaspoon pepper, your onion, pepper, garlic,2eggs,your bread (slightly dampen bread with water and tear into small pieces before mixing in to  the ingredients).and add your favorite brand small bottle barbecue sauce .after mixing coat a baking pan with light spray of coating. Shape your meatloaf into one or two oblong shape patties ( as seen in pic).Take glass water add little of ketchup to the water and mix. Before putting meatloaf in oven , what I do is put about 1/8 inch of the mixed ketchup water into bottom of pan. Do not throw away  the ketchup water, we will use this as a basting sauce.

After your meatloaf has been in oven for 15 minutes take your basting ketchup water and baste top of meatloaf with few spoonfuls. Put back in oven. Every 15 minutes I like to baste my meatloaf . After about 45 minutes your meal should be close to done. So for last 15 minutes of cooking .

For last 15 minutes remove meatloaf , take bottle ketchup apply light coat  on the entire meal.( top and sides). After applying ketchup apply a nice thick layer of the tomato paste( top and sides). Next lightly sprinkle  the top with salt, pepper, paprika and cayenne pepper. Let cook for about another 15 minutes or so. Cooking times will depend on size and oven temps.

You can always vary your spices , your amount and size of meatloaf, what barbecue sauce you like , this recipe is a basis that I use , I vary my recipe , do each time you can get differ flavor of meatloaf,,
